Amérique Georgine Ferrera (née le 18 avril 1984) est une actrice américaine.
Elle est surtout connue pour son rôle principal de Betty Suarez dans la série télévisée ABC Ugly Betty (2006-2010).
Son portrait a été acclamé par la critique et elle a remporté le Golden Globe Award de la meilleure actrice - série télévisée musicale ou comique, le Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series et le Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Elle a joué dans de nombreux films, dont Real Women Have Curves (2002), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), sa suite Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008), The Dry Land (2010), End of Watch (2012) et Our Family Wedding (2010).
Elle a également joué un petit rôle dans le biopic Lords of Dogtown (2005).
