Daniel Sallis Danny Huston (né le 14 mai 1962) est un acteur, écrivain et réalisateur américain.
Huston a commencé à diriger M.
North avec Anthony Edwards, Robert Mitchum et sa soeur, Anjelica Huston.
Plus tard, Huston a fait une percée dans le cinéma indépendant Ivans Xtc et a été nominé pour la meilleure performance masculine aux Independent Spirit Awards en 2003.
Au cinéma, il a notamment joué dans Birth aux côtés de Nicole Kidman, The Aviator de Martin Scorsese, pour lequel l'ensemble du casting a été nominé pour un Screen Actors Guild Award en 2004, The Constant Gardener, pour lequel il a reçu le Golden Satellite Award du meilleur second rôle masculin pour sa performance, Marie Antoinette de Sofia Coppola, The Kingdom de Peter Berg, Robin des Bois de Ridley Scott et Hitchcock de Sacha Gervasi.
Le dernier film de Huston, The Congress, a ouvert la 45e Quinzaine des réalisateurs au Festival de Cannes le 16 mai 2013.
Huston tourne le film Big Eyes de la société Weinstein, où il jouera aux côtés de Christoph Waltz, Amy Adams, Krysten Ritter et Jason Schwartzman.
Le film est réalisé par Tim Burton.
En 2013, il rejoint le casting de la série de thrillers FX American Horror Story : Coven, qui met en scène l'homme de la hache.
