John Forsythe (né Jacob Lincoln Freund ; 29 janvier 1918 - 1er avril 2010) était un acteur de théâtre, de télévision et de cinéma américain.
Forsythe a joué dans trois séries télévisées, couvrant quatre décennies et trois genres : en tant que père playboy célibataire, Bentley Gregg, dans la sitcom Bachelor Father (1957-1962) ; en tant que millionnaire invisible, Charles Townsend, dans la série policière Charlie's Angels (1976-1981), et comme patriarche, Blake Carrington, dans la série Dynasty (1981-1989).
Il a accueilli World of Survival (1971-1977).
